Within a month, say six weeks I hope to have my puppy here. It’s a big dream of me to have a dog but I wasn’t ready for one in the last years. Now I’m ready and up for it!
But as you know I’m a big collector but I can’t have a mega full house with a dog (he needs space too), so for weeks now I’ve been clearing out my home. In a few weeks I have help to do a really big cleaning in my home, including a lot of odd jobs I can’t do by myself. Like fixing some feeding points for hanging lightning, make a new floor in my hallway, etc. And especially for the new pup I need a stair gate and some carpet on my stairs. If all that is ready, my new buddy is so, so, so welcome…

This picture tells my story. I feel like I’m on a journey. Not always knowing where to go, or were my path will lead. I feel free. Free to go where ever I want to go, to feel what I want to feel or to do what I want to do. I feel chaos. Stuff everywhere. Ideas in my mind. Exploding to get out. Sometimes I feel I live in the wrong time space. I want to go slow. Without time pressure. Slow living like the gypsies did…

I think that we have the most beautiful wallpapers off all time, at the moment. You can choose it all. Colourful, motifs, graphics, flowered, retro, structured, bright or pastel.. if you think of it, have an idea for your wall, it’s for sale somewhere.
I really like one or two walls with bright, colourful wallpaper. These here are some of my favourites. Including the beautiful colourful floor!! Love that too..

Jason Lee is a wedding photographer. He started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006 when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were constantly sick, with colds and coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother. Jason wanted her to be able to see her granddaughters without catching their kid germs so he started a blog where his mom could see what was going on in their lives.

On his blog he has the most beautiful and most creative pictures by/with his girls. I love his creativity and I love to see how much fun the girls are having.. Some of my favourites here but please check out his blog/site.

Where’s the limit of knitting? Well, according to textile designer Pauline Borca, nowhere.. I love this 2011 collection! It’s vintage, it’s raw, it’s 3-dimensional, it’s old fashion in a new way, it’s all the craft techniques together, it’s funny.. I like it!
(oh and I had to go to the hospital for lung photo’s. everything is clean. pffff… but it’s not going better! grr.. new antibiotics which I hope will work! thanks for the sweet responses and mails!!)

Off course you know these moments.. These moments when you realize what you have, because you are missing it. Like when you want to put your children behind the wallpaper because they are shouting and running and you want them to be quiet. Until they are a weekend away and you miss all these sounds and their running around the house.
Or when your favourite shirt has a stain which you can’t get out and you have to throw it away. Just count those moments you want to grab it from your closet…

It’s the same, the other way around. You start sporting and after the first time you feel mussels, you never knew you had. You never missed them until you feel them. I guess that’s my case… I miss air, I miss taking whole breaths. It’s so normal to breathe that you don’t think about it, until you miss it. Pretty weird actually..

So some flowers for myself today! To brighten my day, to give me some good smells and to be happy which such view.. As said in the last post, we have to be kind to ourselves!

A) The thing with digital photography is that we don’t do much photo printing any more. Such a shame.
B) If we do print photo’s… most times we don’t like to organise these in photo books.
So here’s the best solution! Print your best shots and make a heart-photo-wall! Don’t you just love this idea? Nice in the kids rooms, above your bed, above the couch, in the hall way, everywhere..
