Meet Isabelle.. She is a classic, elegant but funky beret which you can make! Isabelle is DIY kit. A kit for a easy beret to make. It only takes 3 stitches and it doesn’t take any counting! So any beginner can make this one too.
Our DIY kits come in a (green/recycled) paper bag which includes cotton, a hook, a crochet hook, a little darning needle and off course the pattern including lots of tips to personalize the beret. The cotton we use is 100% cotton, which has 55% of recycled cotton.
Today I’m going to work on the details of the pattern layout, so I can take the first kits to this Sundays Market in Amsterdam (Will you visit us?). Next week the kits will be added in the shop. Would wish I could do that today but I’m waiting on more crochet hooks to add in the kits.
And then.. when Isabelle is a kit.. we will soon add Phoebe. Our second DIY kit! Also a hat (we shown that one earlier) but that one is one step more difficult and that it needs a diagram pattern too. And when Phoebe is in the shop, we’re adding a DIY kit for sleeve-scarf. That one is ready too but needs a diagram pattern too. We’re waiting for the software to make the diagrams. So you need to be patience for these patterns but you can start with a hat!!

Nice beret! The kits sound wonderful. (BTW, I finally figured out how to get the blog feed. I had to subscribe through Google Reader instead of through Blogger. Yay!)
Does your website have a contact page? I’m having problems locating it but, I’d like to shoot you an email. I’ve got some recommendations for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great blog and I look forward to seeing it develop over time.
I would love to purchase the kit for the crochet beret. When will we beablr to purchase from the USA?
